Me too! I prefer not to have to deal with shadows that keep shifting. Also, on evening hunts I have it in my face (can't be helped), which cuts my visibility.

Buck chasing doe. Probably would have shot him at this point if he was 150yards closer....

They are the only nice clothes I own.

I told my wife I wore bread bags on my feet to keep them dry and was always cold and wet when I was a kid. I refuse to be either now.

Weather feels more like a spring turkey hunt day more than a November rut day. Kind of odd but I'll take it.

Yeah dude you are being a d!ck, when I made the shot I checked impact and didn’t see blood and called my brother in law about what we should do it ran on another property and the guy said check now of never. Everything happened very quick and there wasn’t time to go” oh wait, swamp stalker I forgot! He will be so upset I better send him a message!” I posted what I could as soon as I could and returned with the full story! Get off your high horse mr. LFTS and instead of giving people crap for not posting “correctly” go kill something of your own!

I have no problem with what Mike did. Sometimes you have time to update LFTS. Sometimes I just don't want to deal with the phone. Nothing wrong living in the moment of the hunt and updating later. I am happy for your success Mike.

I don't know if someone has said this but this is something that happens to me with migraines. I don't get them often but when I do it has to do with fatigue and most importantly dehydration. If it happens most in winter because I drink less both at work and hunting. I seem to piss, more in cold weather, so I always just drink less. But as hunting season goes on I would get them at work. Now I drink more water then ever before. It's seems to fix it. Just something to think about, may not be the case for you.

    I get it.
I have the base and mid layer Sitka and the cold weather vest. It's awesome stuff.
Can't justify buying new when what I have isn't worn out.

Should have set up somewhere else this so called wind is so light and swirling it doesn’t matter. I’m over in no mans land away from the action. Gonna give this 30 min then hatch a new plan.
