    IMG_1342.JPG okay guys here’s the original find picture. A lot happened tonight very quickly but tried to inform you guys quickly. I went back in the stand today at about 12:00 and was dead j til I seen this guy at 3:30. He was crushing threw the pinch woods from left to right side so I grunted at him a few times until I lost sight of him. I panicked so I grabbed the horns and rattled and before I knew it he was half running right at me! Came within 4 yards of the stand and looked around for the fight. He turned and walked to about 12 yards and turned left side broadside. I drew back stopped him and almost just fired but then remembered to take a breath and let the pin settle. And fired! He took off like a bat outta hell and I could see my arrow with what seemed to be little penetration... scared I got down and looked for blood and seen... nothing. I new he left the property so I found out who owned the land behind us to see if I could get permission to check after a few hours.... his response was” we can go check now but no one can go out there during dark”. So... I agreed. Scared the buck would just get bumped and run I had no other choice. We drove to the back of the property and found blood in the snow. Drops... little little drops so e tracked and found drop after drop after drop.... I as just hoping to find a bodyjj Bi in the tall grass we were tracking in and the guy just wanted to keep pushing forward... we got to where the grass meet the wood line and blood was gone... I was nervous but seen a small pool of blood in the wood lobe so I stepped in and as soo. As I did I seen an antlers sticking above the creek wall!!!! He was dead!!!! I had double lunges him and hit the opposite shoulder which made me think it was a bad shot at first but ended up being an amazing shot dropping him in roughly 200 yards! Yay me!! Thanks to tony Adam mike and Chris for convincing me to stay in that stand when I wanted to move!!     I have till around 930 tomorrow morning and then I'm not going to hunt again till December 6ish. Leaving for NC next Saturday to see family for Thanksgiving for a week, so November ends for me in the morning. Glad for all of you that got it done and congrats to Mike for finding new ways to Mike up the lfts thread. I'm kidding man. You're a frigging legend in my book and that's a hell of a buck. Congrats in all seriousness. See you a holes in the morning.

    I'm up and waiting to head in. I've got the 4 year old with me, so we're spending as much time in the heated Jeep as possible. We will have a grueling 60 yard walk to the blind when we finally get moving.

    Sitting in the truck getting ready to walk to the only stand that will do the least harm with this SE wind. Should have stayed in bed but it’s November and you never know.

    All settled in going to be here till 11 then have a family dinner to get to yesterday was my little girls last travel softball tournament of the year and she had the best defensive day ever so my weekend was made yesterday no matter what happens in the woods today good luck all kill a big one
