No luck. Never got permission to look more for my grandpas. My dads was low he said it will either be heart shot or a flesh wound. Was a step angle at 25 yards. He was at top of hill buck was at the bottom. Followed good blood for a 150 yards then there was a pool of blood like it bedded or stood for awhile and after that the only blood we found was where his hoof stepped through the snow. Very rough two days. On a little lighter note. My little brother has hunted here and there never showed like a ton of interest unless he was with my grandpa. Two years ago he shot a doe with a cross bow. This year was his first year with a real bow and he would sit by himself. Well he sure let off some of the pressure and showed us how to shoot a deer. First deer ever with a compound bow. I’m so proud of him. IMG_1124.JPG IMG_1126.JPG

Yeah I'm still here. Just worried now he knows where my stand and cameras are. Taking it all with me tonight. I'll relocate the cameras.

I just spent hours waiting on a buck and got totally outplayed. I have no idea how big he was, but he was no dummy. Holy crap

Had 15 or so Does and fawns file by me starting at 4. Total of 40 plus deer in the cut corn. Not a single visible buck. I waited till well after shooting time to get out so I didnt blow out the field. Several bigger bodied deer moved by at 25 -30yds in the darkness. Pretty sure they were bucks but couldn't really tell. I know where to go now Thanksgiving weekend. I'll probably take another Doe then and hopefully a Buck.

Well that makes 14 consecutive PA archery seasons without me wrapping my tag around a buck! Can’t complain I had an amazing season so far, now I get married in two weeks so that’s the focus! Honeymoon during the first week of rifle and will hopefully get out the last day of rifle. Still have the option of going down to MD with my buddy for several later hunts! Good luck out there guys

Finally got a doe to come in... A little doe fawn all alone. Not worth the effort in this frigid weather. Fun to see though . Had a big single deer come off neighbor 150 yrds away. Got just a glimpse through trees. Then after close ad to walk past garden plot... High racked buck feeding UNDER the stand...lol...I can't win
I'm glad I went to stand I did , it is just a round house of activity. I just have to figure out when. It faces south so sunny days would bring south exposed day bedding.

I'm out. Not a great day. Was trying to shoot a doe today. That's all I saw, no bucks. This morning had a doe and fawn working in at 10am. They bedded down at 45 yards, to far for shot. I sneaked down and tryed to get a shot, but the leaves were to loud and they bolted. This afternoon I had 4 does come out at 3:30. They fed around for a hour then left the opposite direction. That was it for the day.
