    That’s crazy how it deflected and still stuck in the tree. Hard to tell exactly from the video but it doesn’t even look like it’s anywhere behind the deer more beside it. Weird!!!!

    It was actually almost directly behind where the doe was.

    All I did was slap her back with the arrow shaft.

    Strike out for me again tonight. Temps drop by the end of the week which should make things a little better with movement

    Had one doe go behind me at 1630. By the time I stood up and turned around I had no shot. Then had another doe pick me off at 1900, blew and ran off and that was it for the evening. Cooler temps the next couple days.

    Didn't see anything besides squirrels. I did get winded about an hour before dark. Not surprising given how much I was sweating.

    Across the road. Doe came out into the plot, hit my trail and tracked me to my tree. Big mistake.
