Definitely not year and a half olds, they are like dog size. Unless they are dwarfed or runts they are this years. I've seen them with 2-4" spikes, if I'm out tomorrow I'll try to get phone pics of them, they don't seem to stray too far.

That was the other part of my chitty morning, put the crossbow in the truck this morning. When got there and got it out, my tactacam(on top of scope) had been recording my drive their from view of bow case. Turned it off and back on, had 1 light on the charge. No clue how much was left so didn't use it incase a shooter emerged today.

Definitely not fawns. This years fawns are button bucks, they may have a tiny bit of bone protruding, but are not 4 points or 6" spikes (that's a fact). If they have very small bodies, then they were likely very late born fawns. I have pics of spotted fawns in December.

20191109_141319.jpg 20191109_141400.jpg As for me, this has been the slowest rut I have ever witnessed. Maybe its gonna heat up later.

But this buck bed was cool to find. Hiding in a little briar patch 20 feet from the lake.

Haha! It's his first year hunting, has no hobbies and all he does is work. I would have given about anything for him to get a good one!
