I want to make it very clear, these images of bucks are bucks that I myself took videos of today. I did take pictures of the video I took of them, but I own the rights to all images.

Don't be jealous like ya'll got on BV...

Trying to keep the deer guessing.

I won't be able to hunt in the morning.

I'll try to hunt in jean shorts tomorrow afternoon in the mid 60's temps.

It's going to be mid 50's here tomorrow. Throwing my gear that froze me out yesterday in the dryer now, should be able to make it through the morning knowing it's warming up.

Hoping to have the place somewhat isolated tomorrow but not sure. 50's will feel awesome and truthfully, since it ia closer to normal, is when I've shot most of my cruisers mid afternoon.

2 years ago today it happened in LFTS. I whined my way into my big clean 10 finally.

Maybe tomorrow I can get my droptine or gnarly non-typical.

    One can only whine!

I'm exhausted. Took x all I had to plow thru this thread and catch up before the AM.
Saw several deer tonight but none in range and no confirmed bucks. Headed to same spot in the AM, it's been a decent AM spot in the past and the wind should be right. Just gotta get there early otherwise somebody's gonna be there on the Saturday before gun opens.

If whining is the key to success, whoa is me.

The wind is supposed to do a crazy Ivan mid day... Looks like I'll do a short sit once again. And may try a new spot on some public land. Big time suck if I shoot something as it's gonna be a 2 mile hike.

Up and getting ready. Headed out to the blind in the County Park with my 12yr old son James with the crossbow. 20 degrees . Gonna be a hand, body, foot warmer kinda morning. Think we are bringing a buddy heater too, so I can keep him out till 11 or so.

I'm up, rough sleep again thabks to hiatal hernia, ended up in the recliner for what sleep I did get. Think I'm going on about 10 hours sleep over the last 84.

32 degrees with a rise to 54 today. Wind not helping me much with it switching to WSW but a smidgeon better than due west.

Hopefully this mini heatwave will make them move a little better, would like to see the older guys cruising a bit more.

    Good luck everyone

I’m up and showered. The wind has me wondering what I’m going to do but I might have it figured out. Go Time!

I woke up after 3 hours of sleep and was too excited to get back to bed. 25°, SSW, and 2ish shooters running around this property. I have until 1, then I'm helping this property owner split firewood...gotta earn my keep.
