If there isn't a chance of rain I'd wait until morning.

A lot of history and emotion in that single sentence Sota. Live it up and breathe it all in tomorrow.

I'm using an old tablet that locked up and had to post that last incomplete then "edit" to finish the story. Re check my last and you'll get the whole story.

trust me, had someone else's land not been a factor I'd not have even started tracking him tonight. Cold, very little wind and no more snow in the forecast. No reason to push it other than he went into private

Taking my time getting ready this morning. An extra hour in the dark at 21° doesn't sound that appealing today...

It's 4am you're a 24 hour station. How the hell is no coffee made?

Granted I got the freshest cup possible but I'm on time constraints

woke up to 10" of new snow this morning and still pounding down. this is one of the downfalls of living in the lake effect snow region. but it's off to work for my last 14 hr day then time to hunt.

Rainy and cold here this morning. Going to be quite a good weekend for most people with this big cold front pushing in. Hope to see lots of dirt naps handed out!

I'm heading in. Down but not out.
Super cold and yesterday's soft snow is now super crunchy- might be able to hear them before I see them for first time all season. Been so dang wet.
