A guy just pulled up to the field edge in his diesel. Must be a friend of the Father in law. It’s November 7th... anything can happen.

Trucks packed, aside from oversleeping the only way tomorrow goes wrong is if my truck shows up to the property without me.

Been trying not to nap so I can sleep tonight.

21° difference from yesterday this time. Set up in the ground blind. Wind has been blowing all day and just layed down to a nice breeze. Went ahead and grabbed the James Valley scent "Full Draw" and as always followed the directions to the tee. C'mon ya toad!

Just heard a couple get up and come out of the willows. No visual.

With my alpaburleys and cold weather merino wool socks my feet are still cold. More foot layers tomorrow morning. Kind of forgot how cold 15 degrees is. 12 degrees at 6am tomorrow.

Get up near them willows and kill!

Get some of those hot hands and once you get to your stand and your feet cool down, put them over the tips of your toes over the 1st layer of socks. Game changer.

Carpe di um fellas!!!! Weather is gonna be awesome tomorrow. I’m going in early in the morning and trying the bottom side of that bedding area where I saw that giant. Wind is the most ideal there and saw some good sign when I hunted there early Oct. plus this cold weather is gonna push a lot of other hunters with no grit to the couch so let the slaying begin for the troopers that stick it out!
