    Tonight's hunt is more of an observation hunt than anything else. There is a small rub in front of me leading into the pines. I'm only about 8ft up. The deer will be right on top of me if they come out through the pines 1573072238103.jpg

    I'm not big on tomorrow with the wind, still hunting so anything can happen. I'm predicting Friday or Saturday is going to be my first action day.

    Either the cold calm wind set up or decent wind but a bit of warmth with it.

    Saturday tends to be weatherwose closer to when I've killed most of my deer

    Here’s the pano from my stand, wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have that doe and buck running in the corn earlier... thick ridge above me it could happen... either way it’s better than work!!

    I’ve had both. Some sits I’ve seen nothing and some I’ve had bucks chasing does grunting and all the fun stuff. So I’m thinking when the cold weather hits hopefully the action will pick up some more.

    All set up for my second sit on public land in Mark Twain National Forest.

    Since I can't shoot another buck until the 16th I'll be putting my son in all of my good spots and I will just move around in the unknown areas.
