I will be out mid morning, then sit the rest of the day tomorrow. Got a strong south wind and plan to hunt a area I have never hunted before. Should be a adventure!

No I blew out the place and is a waste land now. Moved on for now. Will be back in there for late season. May try 1 more sit mid November if the does are still in there. That early muzzle loader season really pushes all the deer out. Found alot of hunter sign in there now. I hunted in there late season last year. In 5 sits, I saw that 8 pointer 4 times. And 3 of those times he was in bow range.

Some motivation for you guys. Brand new buck. Straight from the swamps TANK. One of the biggest bodied deer I’ve ever had on cam.

So I didn't see anything. No movement no chasing no deer to kill whatsoever. I didnt want to post this earlier bc hell it's the LFTS. I lost one of my best friends last night to a drunk driver. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions for me and I just cant make sense of any of it. I'll probably be in Tampa for the funeral and some visiting next weekend, so I'll not be hunting to say the least. Call your buddies, hug your family and try to keep perspective y'all.

Hard to tell from pic, but almost looks like he has some dark feet. He might be a true swamp buck! He definitely has a huge body!

That was my first thought. I think he is a true swamp buck. In the mud with black feet.

Have to try to figure out what swamp he’s in now.

Granted I have stopped naming the bucks I get on cam, this one if getting the name of Butterbean. .00000000001% chance I ever see him, it’s just fitting.

Look at a overview map of area. Try to pick out a tiny island or a tiny raise ground spot in any of the swamps around. It could be a 5 foot wide bump in a sea of water logged swamp. Any little piece big enough for a deer to lay on and they will bed on it.

Thanks for the kind words. I have come to think of a lot of you guys as extended family of sorts and hoped I wasnt gonna bum everybody out, but my heart is heavy. Bowhunting is my passion and I think I share that with all of you along with the rest of life sometimes.
