Just had another small 8 come by. That’s 9 bucks so far
Edit: forgot about 2 others 11. So 11. My buddy is hunting 300 yds away and has seen just as many. Sure a lot are the same

Yesterday I swapped out the whisker biscuit and went back to my limb driver that I took off at the end of last season and put on my target bow.
    Checked cam timing

Noticed I had some nick pinch with lighted nicks, so went back to GTO nock and bushing

    Paper tuned

Walk back tuned out to 60 with the same model Broadhead. Went back to 20 and hitting right on

Field points grouping with fixed blade.

I dunno what else it could be. My Halon X Comp is 58lbs and my hunting bow is definitely up past 65lbs. Haven’t put it on a scale but the limbs are all but maxed out.

Just saw the split G2 from the pic I posted earlier. He is HUGE. He was cruising behind me. Now I just need him to come back thru later.

Hard quartering away shot may have just lodged in something. What kind of downward angle did you have Slick?

    Public land buck 2019.....check

    November 1st

Got out of his bed 172 yards away and came in on a string to work a scrape line, stopping to rub a couple trees on the way.

I was brushed in on the ground between two blind corners of a corn field. Shot at 22 yards, high double lung and severed the aorta at the top of the heart, didnt pass through. Terrible blood trail, persistence is the main reason he was recovered, a decent knowledge of the terrain helped. Man I hate tracking in CRP. [IMG][IMG]

I only looked around where I thought he was when I hit him. I didn’t go the direction he ran. The way he was quartered it’s a good possibility it hit the opposite shoulder. I’ve had that happen with a rage and the arrow was about 30 yards away and came out and he died about 30 yards after that.

That is one of the only reasons I dont like calling or scents. I dont want any buck coming in hunting me to speak. They get downwind and they are looking for movement. I dont want them knowing Im there until its too late.

That being said, great job on grunting him in and almost killing him. Hard to do an rare for me.
