Made the mistake of sitting down in this millennium tree stand and lost twenty minutes. On your feet solider.

Went out yesterday. Didnt have great service. Nothing came by anyway. Cams still showing all nocturnal, small bucks. Well that was it for VT Archery season. No hunting in VT till the 16th. I'll be out in rifle season, short sits with the bow, all day walks with the gun. My next big archery week will be in NJ November 9-18! Cant wait. Good luck everyone.

Weather is great the hunting not so much. Super slow morning. I think the bad weather yesterday had the deer up and moving.going to hunt till 12. Waiting for the mid day cruiser.

Well out all day today, fresh scrape line all the way to stand. Saw 6 pt and 4 does and 1 unconfirmed before daylight that blew. He smelled me but doesn’t know how close I am. Walked within 20 yards. Dang wind shifts

Not a single deer. Not even a silly spike roaming the bars.[IMG]

Giving it another 30 minutes then pulling this set for the new spot. I'll post some pics later of it. Total swap in type of cover but transition from bed to food in open mature hardwood. I could not be more pumped. Big fella is going down son!

Could've easily shot a spike this morning. I would like to tag out on deer this year with a bow as my goal (4). Decided to pass because action was hot at the time. Still waiting
