    You’ve got to kidding me!!! Just had a buck at 30 yds waiting for him to step in my opening when what comes crashing through the woods???? A stupid dog that has now ran all around the woods barking

    Well I'm here, came out early because was goin to sit in a stand i had to move a little on tree and wasnt really ready. After maoing all kinds of noise for last half hour or longer finally got it set up. Luckily brought extra tree strap for harness since had to cut other one off. After this year I'm definitely finding a new way to hook up to tree. Straps i use are fine but can't ever get them loosened up and end up cutting them every time. See how it goes now i guess.

    Lineman’s rope is the only way to go man. I take mine with me after every sit and if I know I’m going to a big tree you can hook two together. I use the muddy brand ones just because they’re easy to find at my local rural king. I think they were $12-$15

    I may be the worst hang and hunt hunter there is. I am so bad at taking down/setting up stands. So much noise. Anyway. I’m up on the north end of the property. Thick bedding to my north and east, trails, rubs, and a few scrapes right in front of me, corn to my south. Don’t expect to see anything after the ruckus I made getting in here.
