Last time I could see there were 10 deer in the plot.
    No shooters.
I'll be at it in the morning!

So next week, forecast low already innthe upper 20's Wed. Night and highs in the 40's.

May be a few more cold weather gear sits .

Best of all though, no bugs!!

I was easier to just throw out what I meant.
    I'm tired.

I understand. It's a very appropriate word for that situation.

Get some rest and kill something tomorrow.

This time of year I know I wouldn't shoot a doe in the evening if I was in a spot where I have a chance at bucks.

Somehow the idea of bloodtrailing a doe after dark shining lights and making tons of noise while they are moving doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I’m still awake like a kid on Christmas Eve, leaving house around 5:30/6am, will have boots on ground by 8am.
I had a thought, kill doe early, drag to my stand location and use as a decoy. It will be cold enough she would be fine...minus any coyotes. I can’t be the only one that’s had this idea.

It’s cold here. Going to battle the wind was going to try to save my spot for tomorrow but can’t. Winds 12 to 17mph with gust up to 40. Dress warm good luck.
