That’s awesome that you shot it and got it all butchered and in the freezer all in one night. Congrats again.

    Well, I'm back in Kentucky.

I'm up, dressed and ready to head back out but I am so tired both physically and mentally.

    But hey! It's deer season!

It’s a lot easier if you there is nice bucks around. With that said if another good sized one passes ... dead

Put a bow holder on the side of that mower and you’re good to go.

This was shot across the woods from my stand. They guys hunting haven’t shot a good buck in years off that property. Glad they got it done

Sitting in the stand heard a bunch of sticks and branches cracking, thought to myself no way that’s a deer making that much noise. It continued getting closer and closer for about 5 minutes. As it got to the clearing I was expecting a drunken methhead to come stumbling out and I was getting ready to run off a tresspasser but instead this doe came walking out. Caught me complete off guard. I grabbed my bow and cautiously stood up and got ready for the shot, but she just continued strolling by and never got within 60 yds. I listened to her crashing through the brush for 10 more minutes as she walked away. Loudest deer I’ve ever heard in my life. Pretty sure any deer within a half mile fled thinking it was a human too. Hell even the squirrels headed for the hills.

I saw some deer earlier. That's all I can say about them.

They were out in the field edge and I saw them through really thick cover about 60 yards away. I'm between two trails coming in and I was hopeful but then they dematerialized. They were just gone. Maybe they went into the corn.

That's okay. My mind really isn't on point today anyway.

I'm going to get down soon and relocate this stand to a spot that may be better tomorrow morning.
