Just had a spike and fork come running through, not sure why. Maybe thought they were chasing a doe, lol

No real way for me to get downwind of the doe bedding tonight with a SW wind... SW wind is perfect for the beans so I'm giving it one more chance.

Betting I don't get much sleep tonight. I'm in Peoria Co. Definitely need to break out the warm clothes for the morning sit!

Bucks are starting to cruise in East Tenn where I’m at during daylight. Have a really nice 8 coming through on camera. Haven’t had any time to hunt the last week. Plan on sitting in a thunderstorm this evening and then the next three evenings the temperatures are dropping way down. Should be good! Heading out in about 3 hours

I leave for Illinois hunt part 2 tomorrow, this has been the longest week ever, especially since I couldn't hunt last weekend due to youth weekend. The cold front hitting isn't helping my anticipation either.
I'm freaking ready to fill these two tags.

Send some of this movement my way guys. So just can't sit still so blew leaves off food plots right behind the house and to two stands before running out of gas. Snow in for cast this weekend. Then the rains hit hard. But I threw my lower back picking up a stick. So needed to walk it out .pouring I checked cams. Just one 6 but right off trails I cleaned a few days ago these, I've been on wrong gully ridge those weren't there when I cleaned 3 days ago. One set 15 yrds behind stand the other 60 yrds down ridge from there.

    Finally finished.

IMG_3643.jpg This is 65 pounds of ground belly/rib/scrap meat and fat off of my buck that we packaged for the dogs.

Including this I got around 140 pounds of meat in the freezer from him.

There is now room in the refrigerator for another deer. :tu:

Stay where you’re at. No matter what the wind is. That’s my opinion when they are chasing the way they are. They have bigger and better things on their mind than your minor scent.
