Oh Lord no! If you "boondock", like we do, then there are literally hundreds of places you can park a camper or pitch a tent. If you wanted a real campsite then there are a couple within 15 minutes of where we hunt although I only know of one that's open year round.

I don't think you understand just how vast this area we hunt is. We have a primitive campsite on an old road and there are some great places to hunt within walking distance of where we park the travel trailer. Or, if you preferred, you could get up and drive for miles and still be in the forest.

You'll just have to see it to appreciate it.

Well that was pretty intense, if I would have been in the tree I was in last year I would have gotten a shot. They ended up leaving, one east one west.... the good thing is I am on a ridge between doe bedding so I hope they come back through later.

Well the only thing that moved was a lone squirrel and a chipmunk.

I'm a little wet not bad thou,. Headed in thunderstorms are headed my way. If there is a break in the storm I'll be out where I was last night up against the partially cut corn field

Live from the office. Told the boss I’m leaving after we take our office Halloween pictures at 10am. Theme is “wedding party car crash.”

They turned down the idea of “hunting group car crash.”

Was going to move to my other stand that's along bedding but decided to wait and hunt it tomorrow. Don't want to stink it up. Tomorrow I'll be in it with 30degree drop in temps. I'll ride this out for another hour or so.

Checked a camera last night while combining. 4 new bucks in the last week, 2 being shooters. Why do I farm and work in the ag industry again? This is killing me!

Freaking getting excited. Should still have a good coating of snow in the morning. Can see deer a lot easier. I can get down midday and see where they are moving. Find that solo big hoof track in freah snow and find a tree nearby. Beds will be a lot easier to spot as well.

    Halloween snow, gotta love it
