Just realized there is a big open scrape 30 yds from me. Confirms this buck is moving through here. Hope he shows himself in next hr.

Bottom. Not normally my style but its raining so im chancing it. Unique terrain forcing me down here. The hill I wanted to set up on I would have gotten skylined.

Something spooked a doe and a yearling to me right before 5. She wasn't wasting any time getting to me I drew but she did not stop. Close but no cigar.

It's starting to rain now. Not sure about tomorrow it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow. We'll see in the am. Still light out and I'm here til dark

Winds are still not a desirable direction, but they have taken the 20mph gusts out of the forecast foe overnight Tomorrow so morning should be somewhat calmer.

I just can't get over the fact that it is going to be cold on Nov. 1st. I'm used to my first sit being waving off gnats and mosquitos and even sweating in the afternoon.

It'll likely be a dark to dark sit in the walnut stand which is a good observation stand and should be able to shoot a doe early if others haven't tipped them off yet. It's aboit the best stand for NW wind. Not sure how much it has been hunted. Where I shot the one eyed 10 2 years ago so it can be lucky as well

Getting a doe down early will really help me hold out for a buck I want rather than shootinga lesser one out of boredom

I thought scrape at first but looks blurred from movement of the blob rather than of the phone.
