Sometimes all you can do is "attack" and hope for the best. That's pretty much the way I hunt.

    Good luck Brett. :tu:

I had one spike come by at last light. He walked right over that scrape. So 3 bucks and 2 does. When walking out, I saw flashlight coming towards me. It was another hunter. He shot a great buck. It was a mature 7 pt. He said it walked down edge of marsh with a doe. He spined it and dropped right there. I helped him drag it out. Nice kid, he was a college student from local university, running out hunting after classes. I've seen his truck a few times there. The rut is on boys!

I'll double up* with ya

*That's not to be taken any other way than he kills a deer, I'll kill one as well and vice versa.

It funny, I took a bunch of photos with the guys phone. Then got back to my truck and remember I forgot to take some! It was a great buck! Probably pushing close to 200 lbs.

man if i went on welfare i swear i would kill a giant buck every year. instead they just waste away on the couch. they don't know how good they could have it. in the meantime i'll keep working hard since they are depending on me!

Not in the slightest lol, I'm gonna kill something Friday morning, maybe a couple of somethings with the forecast.

Friday is my best chance as i should be the only one hunting, Saturday is still attainable but may be an improvised sit and doubt I hunt Sunday due to working Monday.

    Live from the couch.
Halloween looks to be a great day as far as the weather goes. I have to work part of the day and I'm off Friday and Monday. Weather is warming up over the weekend but still not "hot".
    Good Luck, everyone!

Would be nice. My best buck was the earliest yet back in 2016, 6:30am. 2nd best was 2017 at 8:00am. 3rd at 9-9:30am 2011.

    Nov. 7th, 8th and 5th respectively.

Yeah it will Be nice to get a deer skinned and cleaned by 7. Enough time to get some drinks and actually enjoy deer camp. Hate the getting dark at 5 during the work week though lol
