Now that's a smile, awesome job bro. I wish everyone had a smile like that after they shoot a deer. Congrats again Adam. You definitely deserve that great buck

Well I've been in awhile and now the fog is starting to lift. It's a beautiful day to be in the woods.
42 Degrees lite wind out of the south 5 mph. If that

Good morning woods and it's great to be alive

Nothing here yet, although they usually come through here between now and noon. 30 degrees here and 5-10 mph wind, just about perfect IMG_2162.JPG

I thought the deer was going to get out of it's bed and move along. Got up took about 4 steps and is out cold. Don't know how they can sleep with all the red squirrel and chipmunks running around

Second airline emergency (AA again) within a month. I'm getting too old for this.

Engine overheated just after take off. Return to airport, try a new flight.

    Some days, I wonder...

The wife wins the lottery, if I go in a plane crash for work.

Had the fire truck parade though...'so at least I've got that going for me' .

Yep, I am in central MN. All the leaves have been down here for about 2-3 weeks. That is one of the reasons I wait until mid October to even start, my woods is so thick that I couldn’t see them anyway.

That's how it looks at our place. Leaves are helpful and hurtful. They can't see me and I can't see them.

Only saw three does this A.M. And really didn't see any rutting activity like scrapes or anything. Out for the day. Beautiful morning though.
