    Im set up an hour before sun. This place is hilarious. 150 yds off a major highway. Parked the truck on the bridge and had to wait for all the vehicles to go by then sprinted across the bridge so no hillbillys would see where im hunting. Detached 10 acre or so piece from the 3000 acre or so public land spot. Already bumped one small bedded buck. Scouted it a month ago and found at least one doe group hanging out in here. We shall see.

    What sounded like a buck on a mission just walked by in the dark

    Hunting is funny sometimes. I wonder if deer are attracted to me banging and clanging my stand through the woods 20 minutes before shooting light. I just get my bow pulled up I have a spike coming in to 25 yds. Then he starts to blow and trots off . I think it's safe to sit down another deer to my right takes off. Just got my jacket on. Hopefully the rest of the day will be this exciting.BHOD
