Just got setup. 2 1/2 hours of scouting and I didn't find anything promising. Setup on a finger that drops down into a cattail marsh. Got a great view tonight, so just trying to get a glimpse of something. Deer have been moving since noon. It's full sun with a nice breeze. All rain is gone!

I’m up. First sit in a newish set tucked back up near bedding area. Acorns all around and the neighbors bean field 100 yards away. Wind is ok for this and spot had potential shooter on last card pull.

    Good luck!

Sat down about an hour ago. Decided there was a better location for the wind. Moved 100 yards...next to bedding area-where decent buck came out of Friday night. Sweaty, bumped forky on the way in. Hope I didn't screw this up.

Doe and shooter buck just got up 50 yards away! Walked away from me. She circled back. He's a nice 10.

First aggressive sit of the year... I waited 27 days to get in and hunt this stand. 62 degrees. Calm out of the west.

    Nothing would surprise me tonight.

I’m in. Been set up for an hour. Already a old doe standing around at the bottom of the hill. 44 degrees and dropping below freezing tonight. I’m excited for these next couple days!

    Good luck evening shift

Gut feeling and an iffy wind I decided to move east 300 yards. Was hardly strapped in and had a spike come through.

I don't know how some of you intentionally try to get that close to bedding deer. A rush for sure, but I don't think if myself as stealth enough to attempt knowingly. I've never had them bed there before

Quiet so far here. Kind of expected as much tho. Stuff don't start happening till late afternoon so should be kicking off if it's goin to before long.
