    This is actually the plan. I'm slowly working in closer to historical buck beds. This place is so think that dangvnear everything is bedding but iv learned a good bit about where these guys travel. And I love the punishment. Sh!t if it was easy I wouldn't do it.

    But seriously, whenever I’ve killed/seen mature bucks in the AM this time of year, it’s been my thinking that they’re heading back to bed and just running late.
    Usually they’re still a little fired up and can be detoured with aggressive grunts/snort wheeze.
    Am I right?
    Who know....I mean, yes absolutely!

    Can’t believe after 20+ hours of wind/rain yesterday I haven’t even seen a fawn.
    I think it’s safe to say that I picked the wrong spot this morning.
    Oh well, giving it another hour and I gotta roll.
    4 hour drive and back to work tomorrow.

    Its almost 80 degrees here today. Haha. Fri afternoon or Sat morning will be fantastic times to be in the woods here in VA. High temps of 60 on Fri afternoon to about 38 degrees on Sat morning. Temps will be rapidly dropping on Fri afternoon. Ill be in a tree waiting and I hope that the lake spot of mine will be open on the base. Getting my canoe all geared up for the 2.5 mile trip in to get away from everyone...including the gun opener on Sat morning.
