Just picked up my tent for camping on sight during rutcation.

A bit of overkill, but go big or go home......

Guys, I don't what's going on everywhere but here in the Midwest we are having 50mph winds right now. So if you're out or thinking of going out this AM, be careful

Yep.. Same doom and gloom for me Sycamore... Spent the day butchering my doe from last Sunday. Ended up getting 40 quarter pound bacon burgers and 15 pounds of steak and tenderloins. At least I got my hands bloody yesterday. Be out this afternoon hitting it again!

Saw 1 small buck last night. On my way out I checked a cam by a stand I haven't sat at this year and the same buck has showed up the last two mornings. There's scrapes everywhere. I'm going to sit there this morning and hope he's on some sort of pattern scent checking those scrapes. LET'S GO!!

I'm in the blind. Actually, I'm the only thing keeping it from blowing away right now. Windy!!! I can see my scrape cam flashing away at blowing branches. The doe heard is bedded out in the field about 120 yards away.

Shooting time starts now but so do the torrential downpours that you guys had in the center part of the country yesterday. I'll be LFTS from inside today. Good luck everyone!

Bout to head to the stand. Good luck folks. It's cool and calm here, but it looks like the wind is going to be shifty today.

I’m in didn’t see a single deer on the drive in that’s very unusual maybe it means they will be moving this morning kinda warm about 65 so we’ll see good luck to everyone

There is zero wind. Was supposed to rain last night but didnt. I was hoping it would so my walk in could be a little more quiet. Pretty sure I stepped on every leaf in a square mile radius.

I am up, got in with about 30 minutes to spare! Raise your hand if you have ever left your seat down on your stand right before a tropical depression hits! Little wet at the moment! Good luck all!

I'm in ladder stand on cut bean field. With most times on first couple morning hunts was late. So no breakfast before left and rushed out without grabbing drink so could get interesting ha. Got here right at game time. Everything is pretty saturated though so really didn't have to take time being quiet. Saw few pulling onto gravel road on way in so hopefully means they'll be moving.

Snow in October hasn't happened in years. More rain to knock the leaves down

Headed out. Going to be a cold sit, 23F this morning. First time in the tree this season. Prerut is still two weeks away here. Hoping to get lucky anyway.
