All set up, man I hate that hike straight up hill, atleast it’s an actual hiking path so it isn’t terrible. Tucked in fairly close (100ish) to some known bedding. Was able to sneak in pretty quietly thanks to a very light drizzle. Gotta say I am feeling good about this sit, something’s nice about sitting where you are pretty confident some deer are bedded as opposed to my normals sits of hoping one comes by! Legal light ends at 6:45, still pretty green in here probably won’t be able to shoot much past sunset! Good luck guys

Good luck to all those out this afternoon. I have seen movement all day long while combining today. Most around 1230-130.

Just had a doe and a fawn run in.

The show doesn't seem like it's going to stop.

Im finally in. Warm and humid but clouds are moving in before a front tomorrow. Close quarters combat tonight. Not many shot angles but of they come through they will be forced to 20 and under.

Hung 2 new stands on 2 different properties-excited about both. One is set back off a bean field, looks awesome. The other is near an old stand. I think I've sat there too long and some of the nanny does are on to me. This is a travel corridor between 2 bedding areas.
Best part, finished right before a bunch of rain. Might be able to sit in one location tomorrow afternoon if the weather cooperates. Good luck to those hunting this afternoon.

I was really hoping to hunt the last two hours of the day, but it’s not looking good. Been raining since 4 AM, what a drag.
I’ll be out for at least a half a day tomorrow, hopefully those bucks will be out freshening up all the scrapes tomorrow morning.
    Good luck!

Don’t have a tag? I damn near decapitated a huge gobbler a couple years ago. It’s a challenge and a blast!

Im willing to hunt to exhaustion day after day just for that sound...crunch crunch crunch crunch...the sound of a buck on a mission coming my way. I dont hear it much but it is darn addicting.
