We usually smash them opening day then downhill from there till migration pushes through. Still had fun. In the deer stand tomorrow! Good luck out there guys. May your arrows fly straight and hit like a ten ton Hammer!

    Both bucks are still bedded.

The wind is in my favor and my SIL says that when the get up should both come this way.

Wind started to get shifty so I backed out. Now for some braunschweiger, pickles and crackers.

    Cheering for you LC!

Thanks guys, this doe came in and spooked at at 12 yds first thing and I couldn't get a shot. She decided to come back, knew something wasn't right but couldn't find me. She was licking her nose and head bobbing the whole way back to me lol. Think she caught me draw as she stopped and had the look of a ***** that's about to blow so I took the slightly quartered to shot at 35. I take it personal when they try to blow at me lol

Exactly! I am near Cape, right in the middle of the projected path. Been raining since 2 or 3 in the morning. Hope that gets them on their feet tomorrow?

Skunked chasing pheasants on opener this morning. Still nice to be out walking. Coyotes cleaned up the remnants of that doe pretty quick.
