Grunted at the big buck, didn’t seem to hear me and then walked off into the woods away from me, a little while later I look up and there are 3 does coming down the hill at about 100 yards, biggest one got to 65 stared me down for awhile then went back to eating, she looked up and the hill and all 3 took off across the field away from me! Great morning so far, wish it didn’t have to be a short sit

Just had a young buck at 10yards. Wind eventually swirled and he spooked. Hoping his mamma shows up

I get that! I am sitting right in the path of this tropical depression remnants or whatever the @&$! It is? Almost 100% rain chance for every hour of the day through 6 or 7 tonight. Good luck all and should be joining you in the woods tomorrow morning!

I am up. Friendly reminder, if you are climbing with sticks, use two lineman’s belts going around branches. Saved me a 12 foot fall setting up this morning. It was loght before I was all set up after having my second stick slip on the wet bark of the tree.

On a great note, my wife olanned a 10 am play date for the kids. I thought I would be done at 10 today. Instead, I am good until at least noon. I am ready for some midday madness. Its kill time boys!

Think I just killed a doe. Shot felt good. Knock went out on impact but I never heard a crash. Knocked another arrow. Going to hang out for a while. Rain is coming so will keep a close eye on that

Quiet here so far. Something walked directly under me right as I was stepping onto my stand and I was frozen still. Caught a glimpse in the dark. Opossum probably. Or skunk? Dunno but that's all the excitement so far

    Good luck on the recovery!!

I think that was all the action I’ll have here this morning, the buddy that has permission on this farm has a wedding to be at this afternoon so we’re packing up at 9. Two options for the evening sit, in pretty tight to some doe bedding or on a gameland that stocks pheasants and its opening day for them, deer should be getting bumped around there but I am leaning towards doe bedding, I’m not right on the bedding about 50-60 yards down wind could catch some bucks scent checking them or does getting up and moving. What do you guys think??

Deer are moving by the cell cam. I haven’t seen anything yet. Beautiful morning. Radar shows a wall of water headed my way. Probably going to give it one more hour then pull the plug.
