well that sucked. My plan for the evening
    -get off work
-fix car (simple o rings in power steering pump)
-maybe get a quick sit in
    What happened this evening
    -Get off work
    -start working on car
-5 hours later car is still no good (long story short, the belt tore when I was putting it back on)
-not fooling with it anymore taking it in the am to have a shop throw a new belt on

I might go get a mid day sit in, its getting to that time right?

This time of year ya never know. Mid day is better than not at all I truly think late Oct. With good conditions is just as good as early November.

I ended up getting busted tonight. Idk why but I let my buddy influence me. He said he was going to get down in about 10 min which meant I still had plenty of legal light (20 min) and after the 10 min was up I was like screw it I'll get out early too and head back to camp. As I was getting my gear a doe snuck in on me and caught me moving everything. She blew what seemed like forever. Oh well, I'll try again in the morning.

A Wrangler? What year? I had a couple TJ's 4.0 and also two Cherokee 4.0 and I swear you could leave their damn lights on for three days straight and they would fire right up. I don't know what stock batteries they came with but they were charged by Zeus or something

That is freaking hysterical! That is seriously one of the funniest things I've seen in I don't know how long. I had the misfortune of clicking on it while sitting on my camper crapper; which I had been on already been on for about 10 minutes catching up on this thread. I'm dying laughing, I can't feel my feet, and my cousin (out in the main area of the camper) was like "what the f*** is wrong with you?"

Not to be gross, but I just finished off such a massive unloading that I won't need to screw around in the morning waiting for my usual Morning Moment; I will be able to pound a pot of coffee and hit the woods on the run. This pretty much means I am guaranteed to KILL

    ...or so I'm telling myself

Buck down on my first solo sit and only second overall sit of the season. What an amazing hunt. Saw 10 deer, and most in range to shoot. A spike and small 8 pointer were chasing a doe. A big 9 or 10 pointer was at 28 yards and did not give me a shot. Finally, this buck came through and I couldn't let him walk.

What an amazing day. I hope you all have a great weekend.

I was on my own for the recovery and field dress, so no fancy trophy photos.

He ran no more than 50 yards from impact.

I'm up and at em with a coffee and ready to roll. Leaving in about 20mins and I'll be on stand by 6:00AM. I love sitting in the dark waiting for first light. I also love hearing them in the dark, but you can't see them.
I saw 6 deer yesterday. A button buck, 3 doe, 4pt, and an 8pt. The two bucks were right behind the three does! Didn't take any shots. Today should be good. Best of luck to anyone hunting today!! :tu:

I'm heading in, should be setup in a hour. Heading to a historic buck bedding area. Have shot and shot at alot of bucks in here over the last 10 years. It's usually better in late November, but going in to observe and see what's in there. First sit in there this year. Also have my only camera in the area, so may check on the way in.

Good luck today, guys! Anything goes on this property, and I have a itchy trigger today!
