play the wind all the time. Some scent will be washed with the rain, but not nearly enough to where a deer wont notice you.

    Chillin' and killin'

There are some big boys around here. All the standing corn around here, 200+ acres, got chopped this week. Hoping for a cool breeze and warm blood. Commence to shooting!

I'm in. Same spot I killed my 8 last year. Good wind beautiful evening and I'm in a tree stand late October! Good luck folks! I'll be in this tree hanging out like a camouflaged hair in a biscuit!

Daughter text me at work and says she wants to go get her driving permit. Get to BMV, serving #40, I pull ticket #51. Anyway she passed and I'm in the stand a little late. 20191025_171140.jpeg

No kidding! UPS guy was nice, he actually wheeled the dolly right up to the door and just tipped it in. All I had to do is push it across the living room floor.

I just stopped for gas in Southwest Michigan, I've probably seen 30 or 40 Deer out in the fields already. Couple of smaller bucks. They are on their feet.
    Get some tonight guys!

I never can get a pic of it but I share this perch with a coopers hawk. He just came by for a visit and scared the skittles out of me. Seeing a lot of birds and they seem to be on an eating binge. Wonder if they know something i don't?

I walked a couple hundred yards along a field to get here. Every over hanging branch had a fresh scrape, 8-10 of them.
This is where I passed that big doe that had a dinky fawn.
Tonight I may not be so nice

Just had a nice 2 yr old (I think) 8 point come across that field grunting the whole way.
I grunted and he stopped and thought about it, but kept going. Don’t think I would have shot, but wanted a better look.
He was fired up, Good stuff!

Had 3 doe on a field acting a fool... In walks Yote.

Yote walks into bow range and gets stuck.

    Yote dead.

Probably ruins my hunt though... I mean dead yote in field at 10 yrds.
