    Thanks everyone! I’m glad to see some deer falling lately, it was oddly slow during the early part of the season. I’ve had a blast here in Missouri but I’m definitely ready to head home to see the family and not scout 4-6 miles a day!

    I just checked, and double checked.

    Broadheads are on all arrows. I start packing the truck Sunday. Load my 4 wheeler up Halloween night and first light Nov. 1st I will be live from the stand and prepared.

    Everything on the menu next weekend. Turkey, doe, buck or pesky 'yote(always on the menu, but not on the plate) I will loose an arrow.

    Going to be below normal temps, so gonna throw the lonewolf and sticks in the truck as well, see if I can't get a set hung where no one hunts and save it for my vacation. If I do I may have to pull a Swamp and get up at 2:30am so I can have time to get in quietly and get past the stands that others may be hunting well before they get there and time to settle down for them.

    I haven't been this excited to get out there in years, truth!

    I ended up seeing four deer. The two does I saw and just glimpses of two other individual deer way out in cover.

    Things are really going to heat up here soon.

    Caught one of the 10 point bucks I knew were around hitting a known scrape line yesterday at 6 am. They only cruise that area when they are starting to chase or make scrapes which is why I have my cam there for a couple weeks. First video was him. It's about to pop off!
