    Antlers - good to go
Tinks - maybe a little early, but it'll get them to slow down and take time if they come by

Live from the cubicle. Booooooooo. Alright folks, I'm pullin for you! I'm totally distracted with getting back to hunting. I'm staring at maps and weather forecasts like I'm plotting a heist of all heists! My boss knows I'm afflicted with rut fever. Good luck out there and I'll be back to telling all of you about football coaches and rating farts on the stand in no time.

So far today has been really slow,
    I had a little guy come thru at 9am. ( 4pt)

    That's all I've seen except a chippie IMG_20191024_085958181.jpg

I've rattled today, but nothing came in. First thing this morning

Some reason the app. Wouldn't work. Just able to get on. Rattled in a spike and saw a doe about 45yds out in some thick stuff. Nothing exciting here. Heading back for breakfast. May try the afternoon but supposed to be windy and around 60.

Last day for us in Ohio. Headed back to Maine in the morning. We always refer to the last day as "fawns and 40" day, though we really wouldn't force bad shots. So, it was anything goes this morning. Had a spike come in at 8:30. I drew real early and he walked right up to under me. I can't let the Vertix down quiet, because I'm a wimp, so I just held it. After 30 seconds or so he got nervous and headed back from where he came, giving me a chip shot. No arrow pick, but a couple trail pics. 20191024_084304.jpg 20191024_084304.jpg 20191024_084706.jpg 20191024_090647.jpg

I am really surprised to being saying this, but my wife gave her blessing and I will be hunting Saturday morning. This will be my last hunt until November 9th. I wasn't really expecting to hunt this weekend due to taking the family to Disney World on Tuesday. I really thought she would want me home all weekend to watch the kids while she gets ready for the trip. Hopefully, the forecast holds and the dumping of rain called for Friday actually shows up on Friday and not Saturday morning. Temps Saturday morning are forecasted at 45 degrees, coldest morning of the fall so far. That combined with a lot of rain Friday should make Saturday movement awesome. Fingers crossed plans stay that way.
