Up showered having toast and coffee will head out soon open is 7:30 ish need to check. So I'm out for a fall turkey, not even hoping for a deer to come in. I really can't complain, I've really been covered up in deer i just haven't been covered in any kind of luck. This is when I start rethinking all those nice buck I passed earlier...A yearly feeling of karma for being greedy. Which I'm actually not, never had nor will get a deer mount and doe here are by far the hardest game to hunt. I just like seeing big buck and you do need to pass a few to see one or two of those.
Gotta run good luck guys I'll be in the blind.

I’m up, call shift ends in 33 minutes. As of right now I may have the day off. The wife is scoping out the situation to make sure they don’t need me this morning.
With any luck my next post will be made from 20’ up a tree.

    Good luck!

I'm up and headed into my spot

I had that fawn mill around from 330 to 6 ish. That all I saw last night.

43 degrees and wind out of the south

Discovered big track in my mock scrape looks like a big doe thou. I would smoke her too

Made it out. I put on a clinic on how not to set up in a bedding area....
In spite of all that I had three come by. They hit my trail I stumbled in on and spun around. One was big bodied. Who knows...

While playing solitary had a chipmunk come in walk around a bit then climb up my leg and stare at me. I whispered BOO! He pretty much flipped then bounced around trying to get out.. LOL
OMG I hope that's a turkey I just heard and not a crow...

Doe appears out of nowhere she hits the path I walked in on and changes course.
I need to do a little trimming but more importantly I need to move to a different tree.
There are very few trees in this area large enough for a tree stand. I think there is one about 45 yards away that will put me in a more favorable position...maybe.

I have a love hate relationship with this area because it holds a bunch of deer but it it so hard to hunt...
