Wish I had seen this earlier.

    Friday. Definitely Friday.

It's gonna be a bloodbath on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

It's time for the rut to kick off, a front is moving through and it'll be a new moon this weekend.

Tony and Ridgerunner may only value their inputs on this at 2 cents () but I'll bet anyone money that deer are gonna fall this weekend under the new moon.

Be in the stand an hour before the rain quits. With the rain and temp drop, deer movement ought to be good Friday/Saturday in our area.

It’s not too late LC!! And...Thank you to everyone who chimed in and threw their money in the plate! I think our grand total is now at $0.10. It was unanimous...so I am hunting Friday and working tomorrow. You all are the best. Come rain or shine, I am sticking it out! Can’t wait. Good luck to everyone who is heading out tomorrow! This thread is about to come undone! KILL!!!

So sorry for delay but takes me 2 hrs to drive home from family farm. So didn’t see anything all day and didn’t spook anything either. Sat in two different locations. Last location is a prehung set I put up in August and is where I slammed my buck last year. So sat all evening and saw nothing but squirrels but the place is tore up with fresh big rubs and not far from there on neighbors property maybe 80 yards was a big bed inside cedars that were thrashed, (discovered it last year when I was tracking my buck). We can sum it up and say I could of been tagged out if he was 10 mins sooner. I lost shooting light so started to get down when all of a sudden I hear the potter patter footsteps of a deer coming right to me. Like he was on a mission. He stops 30-40 yards behind my stand and starts thrashing trees and making scrapes for like 10 mins while I’m just hanging on the side of tree waiting for him to finish and move on. He finishes then like I predicted walks right by me at 15 yards then take the trail to the bottom field lol. Worst hunting day I’ve ever had there’s especially on my bday

I’m calling it...Friday evening I will put ol 12-pack on the ground. Light rain and moon is similar to that last time I saw him.
It’s going to happen, stamp it.
