    Not looking great here... guy just pulled his car in the middle of his yard about 100 yards away from me keeps turning the engine on and off and now is looking under the hood, dang

    Sure, ridicule my pain of having to work my life (and season) away! :bigcry:
    Ok, tomorrow I'm working 2 hours then making the 6 hour drive. Not even the property I want to hit right now, but a huge tree fell smack dab in front of the barn that I hide my truck in. That barn is crucial to my incognito-ness during the rut!
    I plan on hunting there tomorrow evening and Friday, chop up that tree, then drive 2 hours to the other farm for Sat-Sun.
    I apologize in advance, to any doe or shooter buck that may cross my path in that time :biggrin:

    I quit work early to sneak in an afternoon hunt. Wind isn’t exactly what forecast called for, so I had to go to another stand about 1/2 mile from where I want to be, but hey it’s a Wednesday and I am hunting enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon/evening.....no complaints

    My high school football coach was a damn character. Picture a large fat southern football coach in the mid 90s. He had a saying before a game where he'd ask us "How long, men?... Not long" it was kind of a regular thing for him referring to when do we get a win kind of thing. I feel like this falls short of why it was funny but it was.

    The damn point is that I was thinking of when this thread is gonna explode. How long, men (and women)? Not long.
