    Got up late(4pm) in NoVa and had a 2 year old walk by at 5 yds while bow was still on the ground. Coulda tripped him to death. Quiet otherwise.

    Well first I was than I wasn't, and here I am in the blind again. Pics showed 32 turkey un the a.m. the last 2 days..lol I can't even win a scratch off.
    Maybe they will return. Big body buck at night and one and fawn just before close. We'll see. Winds are gusting.

    Ok guys. Need some advice. I have the option to take off either tomorrow or Friday from work to hunt. I will report at 0700 and then can cut out around 0830. So the morning hunt is out but plan to hunt the whole rest of the day till dark. It seems like an obvious decision when you see the weather attachment due to the cold front moving in, but there is also rain and supposedly quite a bit. Also, the wind difference is from an 8 on Thursday to an 11.5 on Friday. Please advise as I need to tell my boss soon. Thanks! IMG_0267.JPG

    All butchered, backstrap in the smoker as we speak. Took most to the locker to go to deer sticks for this one.

    These hitch hangers are awesome, freaking love using it.

    If there is any chance of a break in the rain Friday and it isn't a downpour, I'd say hunt then after the front moves through. That's my .02

    Got out for the last hour today in VT! Perfect NW wind. Been lots of nocturnal activity The boys have been Sparring alot. The mock scrape is set up.

    This is no longer funny!
    After last post I peek out back window doe 10 yrds in scent stream turned around. Just now watched 9 deer run exact path the 12 did past my 2 stands15 & 20 yrds. There's chasing going on.oh 200 yrds away from this blind.
