I can almost see the antlers moving on the other side of the corn stalks, getting closer to the edge!

Doe down. No tracking laying 20 yards from stand. Reloading for the buck.

He went back and couldn't find any more blood. It is very disappointing to not find him. Being a single lung shot, I know he died.

Dogs if legal maybe? I wouldn’t give up yet if I were him. Really hope it ends well as the blood looked good to start.

Made it to the stand about 40 min ago. Thought I left phone in truck....then it vibrated lol. Just had a doe come by with knot-head triplets! That busy mama gets a pass.

I no sooner wrote that last post a big doe came out. Down by enclosed blind. So I snuck down and walked middle woods trail out. Well I nearly lost my eye. I never heard it but it dropped me to my knees . A branch hit my left eye. If my head was tilted back at all it would have been a direct hit on my open eye. As it is I think it's scratched and it scratched my cheek and poked a small hole just under my eye socket. Pretty sure it might be blk. and blue in the morning. I know it hurts about like when I got a welders flash burn in trade school. Instructor flipped his mask down and struck an arc. Problem was mine got stuck and didnt drop. That hurt and itched, this does too.

Team sixtine is on a roll.

Saw 2 fawns tonight. Had 4-6 in the beans at last light that I couldn’t see. Busted them out of the field getting down... none of them blew or anything. Farmer was combining the beans right next to ours so I’m going to need to hang the stand somewhere new soon.

    Do it yourself European mount.

Once you get the set up it cost about 5 dollars a piece. Propane tank, hook up to burner, and a BIG pot. Brush on peroxide cream and let it set a couple of days.

When I'm done, I write on the roof of the mouth a little bit about the hunt. Sure wish I did this when I started. Now, I have a bunch of antlers and dont remember much about them.

I encouraged him to put some more time in. I think the buck is nearby. If it were me, I'd call in sick (sick to my stomach) and go find him. Hopefully he look in the morning.
