    I hope they are realizing they have been
    Issuing way too many tags and shooting too many deer
    Hopefully they want to get Illinois deer hunting back to the quality it once was

    I find it odd Pike County is already closed. That's probably the biggest unpopulated county in IL.

    Bit concerning hiw far SE the CWD counties are becoming as well.

    I don't know, just something not sitting well with me on it. Part of me wonders if they are purposely letting disease migrate.

    Anyhow, anyone heard anything on additional recoveries through back channels? :lol:

    Yeah , kind of odd that the many of the heaviest deer populated counties are closed

    To me it’s always seemed Illinois was issuing as many tags as possible god revenue .

    Just an update. Found my doe first.. no track needed for her. Got one of the smaller hogs as well. The bigger one (75-100 lbs) is bleeding all over. I’ll search for him in the morning. And missed apparently on the 4th shot with my practice broadhead. I’ll have pics in the morning.

    my buddy found his big ass momma doe tooo. What a night. Still cleaning things.

    Just got finished skinning, quartering and packing those two big-azz does on ice and cleaning up the mess in my brother's shop.

    That's three huge does in the coolers for this trip.

    Now I'll go back ten pages in this thread and get caught up.
