I’ll be heading back out in a while. Might take a power nap first. Not sure where to yet. Hoping the wind dies down.

Well that’s it for me this morning, didn’t see anything. The wind was blowing pretty good, probably couldn’t have shot anyway because the tree was swaying so bad. Still a good time though

We have a rare and elusive south east wind this evening. Tonight will probably be the first time that I know of that I’ve ever hunted on a south east wind.

Good luck to those who are out or going out this afternoon! I’m thinking about an afternoon hunt tomorrow if all goes well!

Had a very light breeze, figured I'd pick a broadhead.... here's 40 yards, one muzzy trocar, one allen photon, one allen velox... I'm gonna go with the trocar

Sooooo good to see one up and moving. I know this BB. He usually travels with a doe group and a couple suitable bucks. They must not be far. He caught me without my bow in my hand. Bring em back buddy.

This will be my last weekend of not hunting thru at least Thanksgiving. Paying it forward for Mrs. Noodles.
Good luck everyone, I expect a lot of reading material this weekend

    G. L. guys Should be but not going out. Hubby backed into a tree next to drive this morning. 5 cameras on that truck! Lol. The drive was so deep in leaves he was having a rough time, besides he worked late last night comes home and steps right in a pile of dog ****e hidden in the leaves on drive...poor guy.
So I got out the pack blower and cleaned the drive. Well while I was at it why not hit the trails.. That was this morning and I got home at 3:45. A little over a mile of trails, freed up 13 stands, 3 covered blinds and 8 open ones. Uncovered a trail plot and 2 other plots.
While the guys around me are going on crunchy and snapping with lights..I'll be dead quiet with no lights. They won't hear me but I'll be able to hear them. Which lets me know whether I should stop and duck into a nearby set or hurry along a bit faster. Why I set up brush blinds along trails to stands.
Now tomorrow starts fall turkey and Cams have 5 Toms walking past 3 ground blinds .
