I would say if you tracked her for 3 miles with no wound bed there is a real good chance it was not fatal.

9:40 just ha 2 bucks sneak in behind me. Never knew they were there until the big one wheezed. He sounded like he was dying. They stood behind me for about 15 min and walked out of range and stayed out of my opening. First time hearing a wheeze.

Happy camper even though not hunting. On the way to be gramma I passed all the local farms. Alfalfa, clover, corn down to soil. They were in stripping the soybeans. Games on!
Oh boy these little guys are wearing grams out! ...lol

Going to take a mid season break so I don’t wear myself out or get burnt out like I always do. My season goes till the 19th so I have plenty of time. I’m going away with the wife for our anniversary midweek till the weekend, and probably won’t hunt again till the week of Halloween.

Nice, The neighbors will appreciate your self restraint when they drop him on opening day of gun season.

Pretty boy. That’s what I’d call him. Good looking buck. Hats off for letting him grow

Been awhile since ive been on here but I'm having a brutal time in the stand lol came in blind on a large piece of public this morning. Saw a lot of old rubs with my flashlight and set up. Had a big doe walk under me. Sat there until 930. Couldn't shoot her because I already shot my public land doe im allowed this year. Been inching my way back and I got set up at the next spot about an hour ago. I'm super far back now. Huge fresh rubs. Like 12 of them upwind of me along with some really thick stuff. I'm in the first available oaks. Fingers crossed. PS....XOP seats are absolutely awful...

Wow, what a beautiful buck! I agree with Brandon, "Pretty Boy" would suit him well!
