    Thanks man, I've been following along on your updates. The map you posted is very similar to where I'm hunting. A little tip that my help you speed up the process. Move in to water and look for tracks coming out. Also start walking any high banks of the water or marsh area. If you see rubs or scrapes on the edge, look into marsh for possible bedding right there. These buck as soon as the get up they rub and scrape within 20 yards of there bed.

    well i just got back from a 6 hour scouting mission. figured out a lot why i haven't been seeing anything. the spot i had high hopes for is actually unhuntable due to the thermal activity. i was screwed when the sun was up and was screwed when it went down. so i pulled my stand and wrote it off as unhuntable area. on the bright side i found a copuple pockets of acorns that are getting tore up so thats my next plan of attack. good luck holt!

    Migraine and son-in-law duties kept me out of the woods this morning. I’m going to my other property around 2/3 and watch/scout/doe patrol. The guy that lives next two it has seen a really nice 12 railing around, maybe I’ll get lucky and stuck a good one.

    So,.... in preparation for the afternoon hunt today I decided to take one of the arrows out of my quiver and take a practice shot at 20 yards.

    Nothing wrong with the bow or the sight as long as I take my time and don't screw it up.
