Back in the stand for an evening sit, trying to keep a positive mindset as there was 0 daytime movement on my cameras and very few deer pictures. On the positive end this woods is absolutely loaded with rubs that have just showed up in the past two weeks, I’ll be happy to see a deer tonight! Good luck everyone, it feels like a Joe is going to get one kind of night!!!

All set up!! I remember an old hunter in Illinois telling me that you don’t leave deer to find deer. I’m In the same spot as last night just 40 yards closer to where I saw the deer. Wind has died down and it is very quiet and crunchy. I won’t be on here to much as I truly need to focus on the hunt! Good luck everyone!!!

Same thing happened to me for three weeks man. Finally had some deer movement and a big doe walk by in daylight the other day. Stay positive, they will come

Sitting in the stand, wondering if the deer are smarter than me, and I drop my phone 20 feet down. I guess I have my answer.

Alright here we go, wind is terrible for my sit tonight but oh well. Hopefully deer come for acorns. Fresh rub and small bucks cruising during the day on camera. Anything is game tonight.

I just did the exact same thing... I know the deer are smarter so I drop the phone and say eh I’ll just leave it have some peace and quiet... 2 minutes later DING somehow when it hit the ladder on the way down it turned on loud so I went down and got it... it can only go up from here right?

Turkeys just scared the crap out of me, thought a deer was running up the ridge behind me
