3 more doe just worked through creek and into beans. Turned and picked through field goin away from me tho. After sitting here tonight feel like should move this stand or put another up about 100 yards around field edhe from me. Every deer that as came into field has came out same spot. It could be different another day tho so who knows.

    Pretty good movement tonight tho

Wife left town earlier this afternoon for the weekend
My boys were out of school today for PT conferences. Took them to the gunrange to sight in their .243 for the youth rifle season. There is a private land doe only gun season this weekend. Hoping my oldest and I can get out Sunday evening after the wife gets home. If we go I will take my bow in case a buck comes by. But, the primary mission will be him killing a doe for his first deer.

First target picture is my oldest shooting at 50 yards. Second picture is at 100. Everything inside the square is him at 100 after I sighted it in.

The flag hasn’t touched the pole all day and sleet/snow showers have been on and off since this morning. Missed out on the big cold front but will be out this next week.

Well wanted to get out today but had to do some plumbing repairs at the house and to top it off unexpected visit to the Urgent Care

Was out on a 15 mile run and was stung in the lip by a wasp
They had to give me a shot in each cheek
Not sure I’ll be out before Sunday morning
Have a lot of stuff to do with kids tomorrow

What a miserable sit that was after the wind shifted. I was dressed for the 46 degrees it got down to but not the 15 - 20 mph wind.

    I'm still chilled.

I didn't see another deer after the two spikes. Maybe the deer didn't like the wind either.

Chief, was wondering again if you’re still using the tactacam? Do you like it? Worth having?

Not live bc I didn’t have any sig. Went with the ground and pound game in the rain to find some hot sign for tomorrow. Ended up bumping a shooter buck out of his bed at 6:30. I quickly moved down wind to where he couldn’t get behind me if he J hooked down wind to return to his bed. He never did though. Not sure if I should hunt that bed tomorrow or let it rest

I dunno, he winded me and saw me... like 25 yards. I can get close in the evening. Probably be able to sneak in and shoot him in his bed if he’s there. I may wait for the next west this coming week.
