    Squirrels and Chipmunks are all around me. I'm turning around in circles, because of them. I Did see two , 1 was a 6 pt not legal here. The other came running bye me at Mock 2. Both about 70 yards out in different area thou.

    Might have to get down soon, Im having that urge to take care of some paperwork. Attempting to hold off as long as I can.

    Is it baiting if I drop pumpkin seeds on the ground from 20 feet up. I was attempting to place them in my mouth.

    I hope not LOL

    Always, always, always check the hourly weather before you go to bed. The front is moving through today and last night was windier than ever. I didn't plan on hunting this morning but am now kicking myself. 0 wind and a light fog. Would have been the perfect morning to be out.

    Same here...blink it will change. They can't manage getting it right even half the time, flip of coin!
    Keeping joints lubed by getting some work done in this warmer weather. Leaf cover, dug broad head out of tree, veggies. BTW. From ground up 26in. Though it was higher. Mature doe are what 30-34 "? She should be in the freezer. I feel better though still a bit high.

    Guy on the reloading/gunsmith forum I’m on shared that. Guess he knew the guy.

    Definitely a cool conversation piece and the antlers actually look kind of cool. I’d get it mounted for sure.

    Back on stand again! In same area as last night. Decided to go into marsh were I saw all the deer. Only 2 trees alive out in the middle of it. First tree had a deer bedded under it, got to 10 feet before I saw her, small fawn. So went to 2nd tree. Found some big track walking right past this tree. So took a hour, but I got up in it. I should be in the money tonight! Probably shooting anything tonight.

    I don't know how to explain it but the anticipation/ anxiety is really high right now! I feel like something going to happen tonight!

    I also had a fox come thru at 10 yards and he didn't know I was here, so I feel this setup is good!

    Back in the stand it’s been an afternoon ... attempted to get to a few different spots in an area I have never been in before and hit absolute walls of pine thickets multiple times wasted a lot of time and energy trying to get around them. Walked back to the truck drove another place boom same thing. Back to the truck and this time I busted through a little and settled not much confidence in this spot.

    Just finished first trail leaf blowing. Probably pizzed a bunch of guys, is what it is. Trees are still real full but ma nature just dumped on my trails . Twigs, logs, branches, heaved rocks. We have two swampy areas a mid hill one loaded with river birch, witchhazel, poplar, beech and several mature red oaks dropping heavy. Well 25 yards from a covered tree stand /blind is a big rub on a beech just feet from one large oak along one of our creeks I will be doing a few hunts there.
    Oh that G5 I dug out of the tree...poked a hole in my palm. Dang still has some ebge and a tip!
    No hunt tonight good luck guys
