Well, Clemson ain't exactly on the beach...but it is probably better than an IL community college.

    Oh to be young again...

Been there, done that, got a drawer full of those tee shirts. The 'prep' is the worst part.

Idk why you guys are hunting during the October lull. Everyone knows that deer do not move, let alone get shot in the month of October.

Well, once again I saw nothing. It was an absolutely gorgeous sit though. I'll hunt the same stand tomorrow and then start packing up for a return trip to Kentucky on Thursday.

We will see but it's doubtful. This trip I will be scouting and hunting a new farm I just got permission to hunt there. It's supposed to rain Friday and Saturday but that won't stop me from getting out to at least observe any movement I can spot.

Don't get me wrong,.... I do intend to come back with at least one deer. :tu:

well i had a awesome day in the woods of Pa. today. in fact the past 2 days have been awesome. but lets start with today, i had deer all around me today. smaller buck 60 yards out bunch of does and fawns. several fawns within 5 yards of me, turkeys. so this afternoon i went somewhere different, and saw does about 60 yards- 70 yards out and then a one lone doe snuck in behind me, i grabbed my bow and got ready when i had a clear shot i took aim and let it fly. However i then noticed it was a bb and it was tiny. the excitement got the best of me. with all the hype around all those deer i couldn't stand it and my itchy trigger finger took over. i'm excited about my kill but not happy with my result. its mine and i'll take it. NO EXCUSES

jerky and bologna on its way, and that is all i going to get out of it

    i love this sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
