This one is going down, and a doe is going with it.

I have a full 5 days notice that it will happen, rather than waiting to know for sure

Update: my machine is still down, wrong parts came in to fix it.

The broadheads though, I have been on stand with 2 having forgotten to switch out a fired one, but never have I not had a single arrow tipped with a broadhead.

That one hurts most, would have hurt worst sitting in stand at 6am waiting on shooting light and realizing it.

Congrats on the doe! I onc had a buck drop his head into my target zone and the broadhead struck him right in the eye. The arrow shaft broke off and the blood came pouring out. Went about 100yds and dropped Was crazy but it worked.

it's something to do with your eyes. they can see the wetness or something. a lot of times i don't have anything to hide behind. but most important is whatever works.

East winds are no good for the patterns I see them traveling. I have a spot that may be good but guys lined up on our lines on 3 sides. Gun only unless I want to lose one. That or later in bow after I hope they've punched a buck tag. I know that these deer have had encounters other than mine because they are all spooky. I'm seriously surprised that tree hit didn't clear them all out due to the sound of hit. I had to get down with deer 30 yrds out so need to go dig that arrow out if I can. Winter prep work today .
