Going home on Friday for four days. I'll damn sure be in a tree for 8 sits. Cannot wait...this whole school thing is taking way too much of my tree time. I'm going to get caught up on here today. Good Luck boys.

    Thoughts from the stand..

So the wife has her medicinal mary jane card and we have a few plants about to harvest. In all the books I read about growing outdoors they say deer love the stuff. So I am wondering, do I mix the trimmings with corn or just serve them up straight?

Checked the cams when I left the food plot and not a single day light pic in 2 weeks. Soooo, I went rogue, grabbed a climber and am way up on top of the hill in a beech nut grove. There is no other food source Just hope I picked the right grove. Took me 1.5 hrs to get here and 30 min to set up and get dressed. Brought an umbrella for the rain and of course my hand and body warmers!

It rained pretty hard right before we started... dog wasn’t able to pick up anything after the bed, did a few grid searches in a bedding area near by and didn’t find anything, unfortunately that’s where it ends

Well it never rained but wind is wild. Just got home from the festivities. Great time great kids took us out and hubby gave me a set of custom designed triple A pear shaped ruby earrings for our 40 th. Wow beautiful and the light shows the " fire" in them. Depending on weather, I'll be in a tree tomorrow. Congrats to anyone that scored today.

High 60’s. North wind at 3. Light drizzle. You could not ask for any better conditions right now.

I’ve been in the stand 30 mins and have seen 4 doe and 3 fawns. It’s shaping up to be a really good hunt I think.

My favorite part of the 2019 season so far is the fact that I’ve encountered zero misquotes... I can’t even believe i’m typing thay. It’s awesome out here.
