Rain stopped, squirrels are on the move, I thought deer would follow.

This is the 2nd time he came through. I heard what I thought was a herd of deer being pushed out of the swamp. Nope. Turkey with him about 5 min behind. Both times I got up and ready to shoot. The third time he came through he looked at me and I made some noise that was a combination of seal mating call and a dying rabbit. He took off like hell.

This is a still pic of the video I took of him. I started talking to him and he just sat down like a dog and stared at me.

Cleaned up, and about to head home! Broke the dry spell! Hope everyone has a blessed weekend! Now time to go home and do honey-do's.

That’s it for me, time to head back home. I can’t complain, I had some great action for the first weekend of October.
Passed a few young bucks, missed a doe :dan:, saw 2 shooters.
I’m tired, but would stay a few more days if I could. Overall, I had a blast.
    Good luck guys!
