    Yep. Back out a take up the trail this afternoon. I've had gut shots with a lot less blood in the arrow than that though.

    Dude, you got this. Go in to town, get some lunch and relax. Come back about 2 or so and search slowly. You've got everything in your favor. Plenty of daylight and time.

    Thanks guys, we have 4 other hunters hunting this small patch, one saw him running then slow down about 150 yards after the shot is my guess, another guy (Amish and doesn’t have a phone) is sitting about another 150 from there and should have seen him if he made it that far. Dad is about 250-300 from that also up in the fridge and he didn’t come by him. I’m planning on taking the trail up alone around 3 with all of them in their stands so if I end up bumping him atleast someone might get eyes on him

    I’ve got a beef cow coming in... kind of strange since I’m not hunting in a pasture and I don’t own any cows. None of my neighbors have cattle either. If he keeps heading in the same direction he is gonna hit an opening and give me a perfect 30 yd broadside. He sure would go a long way towards filling the freezer! Anybody know if it’s legal to hunt feral cattle in NC? Hypothetically speaking, I imagine it’s plausible that somebody could mistake it for a really really really enormous hog... and my eyesight just isn’t what it used to be..

    I could really go for a jimmy dean biscuit right about now. I wish Last Chance Archery made a microwave holder for the stand.

    So..... It's 9:22 and I've been here for four hours and haven't seen anything but squirrels.

    It's nice out, my wife is out doing volunteer Ozark Trail maintenance and I'm retired so I think I'll just sit here a while.

    So cold got to me as frost settled in...I got down grabbed cards ,going to have to zip tie the field one..I believe it's getting viewed and erased...any how, went to cross road to house look down the hill and there are 4 doe and a buck crossing on to us where I just came from. 9:45 note to self, cam facing my stand has a 9pt and another massive racked buck with him just a few yards from stand yesterday. the bigger buck was making a licking branch and we caught only his mass behind the brush pile and bushes. My you tube is all messed up and I can't get into it... I wish we could post videos from the computer...I AM STOKED NOW!!!!!!
