It’s that time, the deer should be very afraid.

Thanks. It went about 25 yards. Sorry if I got anybody revved up and thinking it was a monster buck ....First saddle kill though. I told it to get outta here and it turned and came back.

There was a bobcat too, but we can’t shoot them. Second one I’ve seen this year

Had a great first sit on piece of public. Only car in the lot and map scouted and set up on a spot about 500 yards back. Seen a basket 8 at 15 yards right at last light . Shortly followed by 4 does at 20 yards.

I drilled this 1 1/2 year old doe ... her grand Momma came by earlier with a fawn doe but I could not get a shot at the big one

About 6:15 this one came by and it’s special as it was my first hunt of the year ... hunting my sons new place .... with my grandkids waiting for me to come back to the house with a deer

    Awesome night

Drilled her, and CLS, if your arrow looks like that one did, you need not fear posting before recovery.. I saw the nock disappear into her lower shoulder and knew she was done.. ran 40 yards and bled like a stick pig... I had to look up to see the blood as it was waist hi and spraying out both sides

Well another blank sit for me. The back 40 mystery continues so I guess it's off to some public ground for a little fun.
