They could be used to it. I was watching deer feed 35 yds out in front of me while my uncle and gis friend were sighting in rifles 70yds away for the MO opener several years ago. They flinched a few times but otherwise weren't bothered having no visual.

They didn't realize I was sitting in the tree I was. Wasn't moving for anything after seeing a buck chase a doe in the sake area the deer were feeding. At the time the biggest buck I had seen from stand.

Clothes are smoked, car is packed, alarm is set! Supposed to be down to the low 30s with a frost advisory. Perfect morning to try out my arctic shield body suit! Lol! Lunar chart showing major am activity between 6-830am. Would be nice to catch a buck going back to bed late! Good luck to anyone who is still out!!

Well wind is opposite from normal direction due to cold front so I took my climber and set up in a new spot. In a perfect spot for wind direction but only tree was pretty skinny. Big enough for my climber but I am on the last notch of my cable. Unfortunately wind is 15 gusting to 30 with the cold front coming in so had to pass on 2 shots because I couldn’t stand up since the tree was moving to much. On the bright side, got the perfect set up tomorrow am once the wind turns - something’s gonna die

Well that was weird. Got a glimpse of something moving and stood up to kinda get ready. All of a sudden everything blew up and what I saw moving starts blowing and see a fawn run off and then realize the doe is whats throwing a fit. At first thought there's no way they picked me off. Then she starts kinda acting weird and coming toward where I'm at blowing and stomping. So I think to myself well somehow I got picked off by this B half hour before dark and this hunt is done. So back down and look below me ans see a bobcat 10 yards from tree.

2 things i guess with that is idk if that's what spooked the deer, they were 50 yards or better through the brush. And second pretty cool ha. Only the second cat I've seen in person. Gotten lots of pics but this is first one I've seen in while and last time was probably 5 or 6 years ago. Either way think tonights hunt is pretty much done ha.[IMG]

Just an FYI, I am done posting a bloody leaf or arrow until I have visually confirmed the deer is down.

Been bitten too many times, if I post a pic this year. The deer is already found.

Doubt I have service while in stand this year anyway, which sucks.
